The Mohave Custom Design magnetic dash mount provides a clean, removable mounting solution for compatible RAM truck dashboards.

Low-profile steel base plates attach to a suitable flat dashboard surface using 3M VHB adhesive. Once installed, the complete Starlink Mini mount attaches magnetically and can be removed in seconds.

Physical measurement of your dashboard is the final fitment check. The entire mounting footprint must sit on a flat surface for secure attachment.

Installation

Quick, no-drill installation.

1. Measure your dashboard and confirm the mounting footprint fits completely on a flat surface.
2. Test-fit the mount and steel plates before removing any adhesive backing.
3. Thoroughly clean the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry.
4. Apply adhesion promoter and allow it to dry for approximately 5 minutes until tacky.
5. Remove the 3M VHB backing.
6. Position the steel base plates and press very firmly into place.
7. Allow the adhesive to cure before applying maximum load.
8. Attach the magnetic mount and confirm the Starlink Mini is secure before driving.

At room temperature, 3M VHB typically reaches approximately 50% bond strength after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and full bond strength after approximately 72 hours.
