The Mohave Custom Design magnetic dash mount provides a clean, removable way to position your Starlink Mini inside your Ford F-150 or Expedition.

Two heavy-duty magnets secure the mount to low-profile steel base plates installed on the dashboard with 3M VHB adhesive. Once the base plates are installed, the Starlink Mini mount can be attached or removed in seconds.

Choose WIDE or NARROW based on the amount of flat mounting space available on your dash.

WIDE — 2.75" × 5.7" (70 × 145 mm) mounting area
Requires a flat mounting surface at least 2.75" × 5.7" (70 × 145 mm).

NARROW — 1.8" × 3.75" (45 × 95 mm) mounting area
Requires a flat mounting surface at least 1.8" × 3.75" (45 × 95 mm).

Measure the flat area of your dash before ordering. The entire base must sit on a flat, level surface for secure magnetic attachment.

Installation

Quick, no-drill installation.

1. Test-fit the mount and confirm the base plates will sit completely on a flat section of the dashboard.
   
2. Thoroughly clean the mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol.
   
3. Apply adhesion promoter and allow it to dry for approximately 5 minutes until tacky.
   
4. Remove the backing from the 3M VHB adhesive.
   
5. Position the steel base plates and press very firmly into place.
   
6. Allow the adhesive to cure before applying maximum load.

At room temperature, 3M VHB typically reaches approximately 50% bond strength after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and full bond strength after approximately 72 hours.
